First week in London

Today is my 12th day in London. Jet lag is over. I don't need to use the navigation to go to work now. And I'm getting familiar with the tube system. My temporary housing is in Camden Town. It's a very lively and young neighborhood, with lots of international options for food.

Camden town market on a Saturday. There are lots of street food and small shops, and of course, loads of people.

7:45 AM in the Mornington Crescent tube station. I didn't expect to be so empty on a weekday morining.

I didn't expect UK is this different than the US. Here, there isn't AC in the apartments. In my temporary housing, I have the use a small AC machine to keep cool and ventilated. The good thing is it's not very hot here. Dryers are not standard facility in the apartment. Instead of using the dryer, you hang your clothes on the rack in a tiny room.

The office is right next to the Kings Cross station. It's very new and has a great view from the 11th floor roof. The breakfast is absolutely delicious! Pastries, fresh juice, British breakfast, baristas...
