Brighton, is a seaside town in England, know for it's gay scene and. It is a popular day trip destination from London—1.5 hours from St Pancras Station by Thameslink.
I bought the ticket without know that the pride parade was on that day. When I got out of the train station around 11, there were already a lot of visitors here for the parade. So I followed the crowds walking toward the town center.
There were a lot of quaint shops on the way. The streets are paved with stones and the shops looks cute. After 15 minutes walk, I saw the beach. I have never seen beach that looks so green. Maybe only in photos, photos of the French beaches.
The royal pavilion is one of the most popular tourist destinations. I didn't go inside, but taking the picture of the outside is just good enough for me. It's strange to see Indian style architecture here.
Just like any pride parade (this is the 3rd one I've been to), there are lots and lots of people, and you can hear cheers all the time.
After walking for a few hours, I stopped by this cute little tea shop called The Mock Turtle Tea Room. I had cream tea, which includes a pot of tea, two scones, butter, jam and cream.
